Luxurious
antique 1920s gilt metal handmirror with
fabulous glass jewels and ornate filigree.
Measures 12 1/2" long X 4" wide.
Has beveled mirror. Stamped APOLLO on side
of handle. Apollo Studios NY was a contemporary
of Tiffany & Co and produced some of
the finest metal objects d'Art during its
years of operation in 1909-1922. Reminds
me of something out of Cleopatra's boudoir,
so luxurious, you'll feel like a princess
each time you gaze at your reflection in
this fabulous mirror. This is one of the
prettiest pieces I have owned of Apollo.
Condition of the handmirror:Two missing
stones on end of handle, not really a big
deal, you can find some replacements from
old costume jewelry. Some areas of black
on the mirror. These items are so few and
far between so don't let the small stuff
put you off. Looks very beautiful displayed
