Shocking
de schiaparelli perfume is composed of
many different fragrances. It is made
of natural or synthetic fragrant oil extracts
diluted in water or high-grade alcohol.
The perfume is a unique garland of rose,
jasmine, and narcissus and blended with
a sensual, musky base of patchouli and
sandalwood, with the addition of sweet
vanilla and amber makes more lively of
its spicy, hearty aroma, which catches
the essence of aristocrat Parisian nightlife.
Its torso-shaped bottle created quite
a stir in 1937. The hourglass bottle was
fashioned after the pleasure giving curves
of actress Mae West.
This
is the original scent with over half of
its contents originall 4oz, over 2 oz
left in collectible bottle with bakelite
