Antique metal match holder strike (striker)- BOY w/LUTE

Standing 7"H and 6.5"W, this antique metal match holder with striker depicts a boy with a lute standing by a barrel. The striker is to the right of the boy and the barrel holds the matches. Possibly made of spelter (it does not attract a magnet, thus it is not iron), the metal has been painted black. The paint appears to be original and does not look repainted. I purchased this a few years ago from an antiques dealer that had a large collection of match strikes from the late 19th Century and early 20th Century.

Condition includes one 1/4" crack in the metal at the bottom back. Otherwise this antique match strike presents itself handsomely. ID=ANTQ26
