ANTIQUE
CZECH TRANSPARENT BLACK INTAGLIO CUT PERFUME
Beautiful
intaglio cut Czech signed vintage perfume bottle in the
hard to find transparent black color. It is a smoky or
charcoal grey shade measuring 5 1/8" tall and 1 3/4"
wide. The stopper is transparent black as well. Although
the original dauber end was broken off the stopper, I
actually have it. It was stuck inside the bottle in one
piece. I don't know if someone would want to super-glue
it back together but it was a nearly clean, straight across
break showing 2 pencil-point sized nicks that I found
with a magnifier. I have shown the stopper tip and the
dauber end in my pics. The condition is very, very good.
There are no chips or cracks in the glass and the inside
is clear without sickness.

LARGE
Yellow Vintage CZECH Perfume Bottle "XTRA TALL"
This
is a wonderful genuine vintage scent / perfume bottle
from Czechoslovakia.
This
one is a BIGGEE! It measures over 8.5 inches tall and
weighs almost a pound at 14 oz!
The
bottle photographs as if it had a yellow base and a
white top, and it looks that way in some light, BUT
in all actuality, it's YELLOW!
You
can see when I photographed the stopper on a white towel,
the STOPPER IS YELLOW -- DEEPEST YELLOW AT THE BASE
and slowly fading to a lighter yellow and then to almost
clear at the top.
A
very unusual presentation! The dauber is almost 8"
in length to the tip of the dauber. The dauber has been
repaired. The two bottom corners of the stopper have
chips, but easily noticed because the starburst patterned
cuts are so brilliant. You really have to work and move
the stopper around in different lights to see the chips.
The
base of the bottle is also cut in with the brilliant
starburst cuts, which I have tried to show in the photos.
The interior of the bottle could use some cleaning.
I have cleaned it a bit but it could use some more attention.
The
bottom of the bottle is marked MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA
in a circular acid etched mark.
If you collect fine fragrance bottles, this old favorite
is a must for your collection! ID=CZ69
Here
is a wonderful old vintage Hoffman frosted glass perfume
bottle featuring Pan dancing with three maidens. It is
6" tall. The Hoffman butterfly mark is visible in
the photos. There is a fleabite chip on the rim of the
stopper, a fleabite chip on the bottom of the bottle near
the edge, a few fleabite chips on the top of the lower
rim, and a tiny scratch on the side of the lower rim.
There are some spots of perfume residue on the stopper
and the bottle. It is otherwise in excellent condition.

This
is a beautiful Pink Czech Perfume bottle, it measures
3 and 1/2" tall by 2 and 1/4" wide. It has
a circle on the bottom with Czechoslovakia under magnification
.There are some very small nicks on the inside of the
opening of this bottle. I found them only under magnification.
This would be a beautiful addition to any collection.

Czechoslovakian
Perfume Bottles and Boudoir Accessories,
by Jacquelyne Jones-North, Ken Leach, Ruth Forsythe, France
This
classic book has been out of print for five years, and
used copies have actually sold for $200 on the Internet.
Now this volume is back in print in a greatly expanded,
revised edition. All pages of the original edition have
been retained and more than 800 perfume bottles are shown
in color. The revised edition adds new essays by three
leading perfume bottle authorities. Ken Leach describes
America's fascination with perfume bottles and related
items (c. 1910-1950), with special attention to the role
played by Hollywood. Ruth Forsythe writes about recent
reproductions of Czech perfume bottles. Madeleine France
provides new historical perspectives and offers a hierarchy
of perfume bottle categories to aid the collector.
Accompanying these essays are 62 new photographs in spectacular
color. With the addition of this new material, the book
has expanded from 128 to 16 pages. An up-to-date 1999
price guide concludes the work. This book provides essential
information to collectors, and is a visual delight to
all lovers of beauty.
Art Deco glass
perfume bottle with a dazzling starburst stopper/applicator.
The bottle is 2-3/4 inches tall on a 2 inch square base
of diamond pointed vertical ribs between faceted corner
brackets. The applicator is 5-5/8 inches long overall
and about 2-1/4 inches across. the perfume is in very
good condition, however, there are a couple of nicks
under the horizontal pane of the corners and several
"back" edge fleabites on the stopper. There
is also a small amount of brown perfume residue in the
bottom that I cannot dislodge. The bottle is marked
under one "foot" but I cannot read the etching.
A splendid piece. .

This
is a very nice vintage Czech bottle, It is not marked
but it is definitely Czech. The stopper still has it's
dauber. It measures, counting the stopper, 4.25”
tall X 2.5” across X 1 1/8” wide. The color
is ice blue. The cherub or cupid on the stopper is incised,
or cut out. Condition is very good, it does have one
very small flea bite on side of the base, nothing bad,
only mentioned for accuracy. Other than that, no chips,
cracks, scratches or repairs.
