Matched Set Czechoslovakia Perfume Atomizer With Powder
Jar - Sunburst Pattern
Very Stunning!!
This
is a wonderful Perfume Bottle Made in Czechoslovakia
in the 1920's to 1930's. Czechoslovakian atomizer perfume
bottle and powder bowl matched set. The bottle is signed
on the brass collar, see pictures.
The
atomizer is gold colored. The hardware is original to
the bottle with the glass siphon tube still intact.
The frosted glass bottle has orange bursting up from
the base. The base appears to be "sun purpled"
as the underside of the base is not purple. The hose
and bulb have been replaced. The bottle is in working
condition.
The
top of the powder bowl is the same frosted glass with
an orange sunburst pattern emanating from the handle.
The bowl itself appears to also be "sun purpled"
as the underside is clear. The bowl has no maker's mark,
but it is definitely a matched set.
The
brass atomizer and collar are in mint condition with
no dents or scratches and only minor wear on the gold
coloring. The bottle is in mint condition with no chips,
nicks, flea bites or scratching to the design. The glass
siphon tube is in mint condition with no chips, cracks
or flea bites. The powder bowl has a small nick on the
inner part of the lid that fits into the bowl. The inner
edges of the lip are rough.
This bottle measures 5 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches
wide at the base. The bowl is 21/2 inches tall and 3
1/4 inches wide at it's widest point.

This
is a beautiful Cut Glass Perfume bottle. It has a clear
base with a flower cut on all four sides. The corners
are scalloped. The stopper is a light blue. It is acid
etched on the bottom Made in Czechoslovakia. It is in
excellent condition. The only flaws I can find are the
dauber is gone and there a couple of tiny flea bites on
the rim of the bottle at the opening. It is in otherwise
excellent condition. It is approx 4 1/2" tall. ID=CZ31
This
is a OLD Czech perfume bottle - approx 5" tall -
3 inches wide. Unsigned as far as I can tell. Both the
bottle and the stopper are pink - in very nice shape with
no chips, cracks etc with the exception of some minor
chiggers on the bottom. It is in an Art Deco style and
still has it's dauber. ID=CZ32
Lovely
Blue Deco IRICE Czech Perfume Bottle Acid Signed
This
is a beautiful brilliant blue Irice Czechoslovakian
glass perfume bottle. This was bought sometime during
the 20's or thirties.It stands 5" tall, 3"
wide and 1" deep. It is extremely thick, solid
and weighty. The bottle features a fabulous fanned stopper
and an almost bevel type cut glass design. The bottle
has absolutely no cracks or scratches. The stopper and
inner bottle necks are ground, but I'm afraid the dauber
is long gone. The base and bottom shows only what I
consider normal wear from being set on a dresser or
vanity. It still has the original foil sticker on the
bottom that says: An Irice Product made in Czechoslovakia
Irving W. Rice & Co. New York; as well as an etched
"Made in Czechoslovakia" stamp. ID=CZ33
This
is a gorgeous old 1800's brass and cut faceted crystal
"sapphire jewels" prong set into the filigree
metal of the perfume bottle, made for the boudoir of
a lovely Victorian lady so many years ago. It languished
in a closet of an old antebellum Southern Mansion here
in Galveston, until one day we went to an estate sale
there and went digging in the closet. It is in lovely
antique condition. MEASUREMENTS APPROXIMATELY: with
top in bottle 8 inches tall, main body 3 inches in diameter,
top with dauber 5 inches, circle of dauber 2.5 inches.
Even the is a slender glass dauber is intact have survived
over a hundred years and is complete and without damage
as have the sapphire crystal jewels. There are not any
markings that I can see.
The
bottle itself is covered in a fancy baroque rococo almost
Italianate filigree metal work that appears to have
been made of brass and chased with a gold wash or plate.
This is so much more beautiful that the photos. Perfect
for collectors of commercial perfumes bottles, Victorian
or Edwardian items, vanity collectibles or someone who
just loves beautiful works of art. (this
is also listed in the other bottles category) ID=CZ34
VINTAGE
PAIR OF 1920 CZECH PERFUME BOTTLES EXCELLENT CONDITION
Here
is a pair of vintage green glass perfume bottles both
complete with glass their glass daubers. They are etched
Made in Czechoslovakia on the bottoms. They measure 1
1/2" tall. In excellent condition I can not detect
any damage. I believe these are cut glass. ID=CZ35
Beautiful
vintage pair of Czech/Czechoslovakian Glass Perfume
Bottles that have fabulous jeweled, filigree brass tops.
The bottles are made from a beautiful iridescent Marigold
colored glass that shimmers in hues of pink and amber
and there's a glass dauber attached to the stopper of
each bottle. The bottles measure 7-1/4" tall with
the tops on and the bottom base of the bottles measure
2-1/8" in diameter. Each of the ornate tops has
all of the stones intact and a mark of; "Made in
Czechoslovakia". The one brass top is snapped off
from the section where the dauber is attached so this
just needs to be pulled and and re-soldered - the glass
dauber is intact. And other than that, these bottles
are in beautiful condition for their age with no chips
or cracks to the glass. This would be a beautiful pair
to use or display. ID=CZ36

Czechoslovakian
Perfume Bottles and Boudoir Accessories,
by Jacquelyne Jones-North, Ken Leach, Ruth Forsythe, France
This
classic book has been out of print for five years, and
used copies have actually sold for $200 on the Internet.
Now this volume is back in print in a greatly expanded,
revised edition. All pages of the original edition have
been retained and more than 800 perfume bottles are shown
in color. The revised edition adds new essays by three
leading perfume bottle authorities. Ken Leach describes
America's fascination with perfume bottles and related
items (c. 1910-1950), with special attention to the role
played by Hollywood. Ruth Forsythe writes about recent
reproductions of Czech perfume bottles. Madeleine France
provides new historical perspectives and offers a hierarchy
of perfume bottle categories to aid the collector.
Accompanying these essays are 62 new photographs in spectacular
color. With the addition of this new material, the book
has expanded from 128 to 16 pages. An up-to-date 1999
price guide concludes the work. This book provides essential
information to collectors, and is a visual delight to
all lovers of beauty.
